Job summary

Protocol Education are seeking a caring, dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in a Year 4 classroom, providing 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD and closely coordinating with the SENCO, teachers and external professionals.

You will implement the pupil's support plan, adapt activities to individual needs and help the pupil access the curriculum while tracking progress and maintaining records. A patient, collaborative approach and safeguarding commitment are essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly ASD.

Job description

Protocol Education are seeking a caring, dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team and provide 1:1 support for a child in Year 4 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and external professionals to support the pupil's individual needs and ensure they can fully access the curriculum.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
