GSL Education Leicester is recruiting Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Leicestershire. This role is open to experienced Assistants or those with relevant child-facing experience, with a focus on Years 3 to 6.

The role offers flexible full-time or part-time opportunities, long-term contracts with potential permanent progression, weekly pay, and access to safeguarding CPD courses. Immediate starts available.

About the Role

As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and school leaders to support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils in Years 3 to 6 on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
• Delivering literacy and numeracy interventions
• Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
• Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
• Supporting children with additional learning needs where required
• Promoting positive behaviour and creating an inclusive learning environment
• Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff
• Helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their targets
