Job summary

GSL Education is seeking a committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant for a fantastic primary school in Leicester. The role focuses on supporting students with SEND (ASC, ADHD, SEMH) in a classroom setting, using a range of behaviour management techniques to nurture potential.

You will build strong relationships with each child, help keep learners engaged, and contribute to safeguarding and welfare. A valid UK work permit and an Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one) are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students who have SEND (including ASC, ADHD, and SEMH) in a classroom context.
• Demonstrates a variety of behaviour management techniques to nurture students one-on-one.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
• Able to work with pupils from diverse backgrounds.
