GSL Education Leicester is seeking caring Early Years Support Assistants to work across nurseries, pre-schools, and primary schools in Leicestershire. You will support children aged 2-5 through play-based activities, delivering engaging learning experiences and fostering social development.

The role offers immediate or January starts, with full- or part-time hours, long-term opportunities, and CPD access. DBS checks and safeguarding are part of the process.

Pay Rate: £90.50 - £99.84 per day (including rolled-up holiday pay)

About the Role

As an Early Years Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting children aged 2-5 years as they learn, explore, and develop essential skills.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting children's learning through play-based activities
• Assisting with the delivery of engaging Early Years learning experiences
• Supporting children's social, emotional, and communication development
• Working with individuals and small groups to encourage participation and progress
• Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
• Assisting with classroom and activity preparation
• Supporting children with additional needs where required
• Promoting positive behaviour and independence

Relevant qualifications in Childcare, Early Years, Health and Social Care, or Education are desirable but not essential.
