Hays Education is recruiting experienced and aspiring SEN Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, Behaviour Mentors, Autism Support Workers and SEND Support Staff for a range of special schools and specialist provisions across Wolverhampton, Dudley, Walsall and Sandwell.

We offer higher than average pay rates, weekly pay, and both full-time and part-time positions with long-term and permanent opportunities. Roles start immediately or for September.

Qualifications

• Experience as SEN Teaching Assistant or similar role is preferred.
• Experience with SEND (Special Educational Needs), autism, SEMH is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH and complex needs.
• Assist pupils with learning activities and development objectives.
• Support classroom activities and behaviour management to enable inclusive learning.

SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or Behaviour Mentor, you may support pupils with:

• Autism (ASC)
• ADHD
• SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs)
• PMLD
• Communication and Interaction Needs
• Complex Needs

You will play a key role in helping pupils engage with learning, develop independence, build confidence and achieve their potential.
