Job summary

Hampton Academies Trust is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support teaching staff and work with the Inclusion, SEND and Pastoral teams to enhance development and education for students, including those with EHCPs and additional needs.

The role includes promoting positive behaviour, engagement and wellbeing, supporting SEMH needs, and assisting with planning and learning activities for individuals and small groups. DBS check required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people within an educational setting.
• Ability to support students with additional needs (EHCPs/SEND).
• Committed to promoting positive behaviour, engagement and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching staff and work with Inclusion, SEND and Pastoral teams to develop students’ education.
• Assist with induction, assessment, intervention and ongoing learning, including planning delivery of activities for individuals and small groups.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers; support clubs/activities as part of Achievement Support.
