Job summary

Leigh Academy Hundred of Hoo is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to join our friendly primary team. You will support pupils in class and individually, helping them learn and develop socially and emotionally.

We value collaboration across primary and secondary phases, professional development, and a supportive school community. This permanent role offers a salary of £19,547 per annum, with hours 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday during term time plus inset.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting pupils in classrooms or learning activities.
• Commitment to inclusion and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well with teaching staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in the classroom and on an individual basis.
• Collaborate with class teachers and support staff to enable learning.
• Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
