Job summary

Lift Tamworth is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our school community and support students in accessing learning, building confidence and reaching their goals. You will work with teachers to foster participation and independence while helping create a positive, safe classroom.

Responsibilities

• Support students to access lesson content and achieve learning goals, including those with SEND.
• Work with teachers to plan and assess learning, and guide individual or small group sessions.
• Help students build independent learning skills and manage their own progress.
• Create positive relationships and support wellbeing, behaviour and personal care.
• Work with staff, parents and carers to achieve the best outcomes for every student.
• Contribute to preparing resources, trips and activities meeting diverse needs.
