Job summary

Teach Midlands is seeking a Level Two Teaching Assistant to support across the school in a variety of departments. The right candidate will have the creativity and ability to motivate students who may find aspects of learning challenging.

Training and development opportunities will be offered. All staff are encouraged to study further and the trust will actively support staff to obtain relevant further qualifications where possible.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to relate to a wide range of people and work in a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, development and implementation of student passports to align with policies.
  • Assist in learning, care and support activities to help students access learning.
  • Supervise students during and after school activities and provide small group support.
  • Monitor progress and maintain records of attainment and wellbeing.
  • Support staff during visits, trips and examinations as required.
