Job summary

Academics Cardiff is recruiting Teaching Assistants for primary schools across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. Roles include full-time long-term positions or flexible day-to-day supply, with opportunities tailored to your availability and preferences.

Salary will be determined by qualifications and experience, with daily pay in the range of £94–£95. The position is Temporary, located in Cardiff, and supports registered professionals through an agency.

We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a Primary School
• Reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic professionals
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• Availability for either regular 5-day work or flexible supply

Essential Requirements

• Enhanced DBS Certificate
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
• Completion of safeguarding and compliance checks
• Right to work documentation

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client’s pay policy.

Salary: £94 – £95/day
