Job summary

Education Supply Pool in Wales is seeking a Teaching Assistant for day-to-day, short-term and long-term positions with schools in and around Ebbw Vale. The role requires a minimum of NVQ Level 2, CACHE Level 2, BTEC or BA (Hons) Education, or relevant classroom experience, with a minimum of 3 months in a UK classroom.

Ideal candidates will have a valid UK driving license (helpful for opportunities) and a flexible, proactive approach to supporting pupils.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 months experience inside a UK Primary or Secondary classroom or teaching assistant environment with the correct Education and Training.
• Assist with preparing lessons in all areas of the school curriculum with consideration of varied levels of student abilities.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude.
• Provide simulating activities whilst ensuring hygiene and safety rules.
• Maintain a supportive and clean classroom environment.
• Be attentive to the unique needs of each student and be able to identify proper solutions when children encounter issues.
• Great communication skills to collaborate with other teachers and families when needed.

Education Supply Pool are a PAYE Employer recruiting a Teaching Assistants to support day to day, short-term and long-term positions on the behalf of schools based in Ebbw Vale and its surrounding areas.

We are looking for someone FULL TIME who is a Teaching Assistant with a minimum of NVQ Level 2, CACHE Level 2, BTEC, BA (Hons) Education or experience working within an education setting. Someone with specific background in Education, who has obtained a minimum of 3 months experience working inside a classroom either a Primary or Secondary school environment.

Owning a valid UK Driver’s License and having access to a vehicle would widen job opportunities.

Teaching Assistants are a crucial part of the education workforce in Wales. The role of a Teaching Assistant is vital to supporting and motivating children in Wales.
