Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a Brentwood school. You will provide 1:1 and small group support across both primary and secondary classes, assisting with communication, emotional regulation and engagement in learning.

Experience with SEN, ASD or complex needs is essential. The role starts ASAP, full-time and long-term, with ongoing consultant support and potential for a permanent position.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs.
  • Calm, patient and resilient approach.
  • Comfortable working across both primary and secondary age groups.
  • Confident supporting non-verbal or limited communication pupils.
  • Willing to support personal care where needed.
  • Strong team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities
