Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well-resourced SEN school in Brentwood for a full-time long-term role starting ASAP. You will provide 1:1 and small group support across primary and secondary cohorts, helping with communication, emotional regulation and engagement in learning.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with SEN (ASD/complex needs), a calm and patient approach, and a willingness to support personal care where needed.

Are you a patient, caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking to start a new role as soon as possible where you can genuinely make a difference?

We are working with a well-resourced and highly supportive SEN school in Brentwood that caters for both primary and secondary-aged pupils. They are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision as soon as possible.

The Role

• Willing to support personal care where needed
• Strong team player with a proactive attitude
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Both experienced SEN Teaching Assistants and strong mainstream TAs looking to move into a specialist setting are encouraged to apply.
