Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a well-supported Brentwood school. You will provide 1:1 and small group support across primary and secondary classes to pupils with SEN, including ASD/ADHD and communication needs.

You will help with communication, emotional regulation and engagement in learning, follow EHCP targets, assist with personal care when required, and collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to maintain a calm, structured environment that promotes

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs.
  • Calm, patient and resilient approach.
  • Comfortable working across both primary and secondary age groups.
  • Confident supporting non-verbal or limited communication pupils.
  • Willing to support personal care where needed.
  • Strong team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Primary & Secondary SEN School | Full-Time | Long-Term Start: ASAP Start
