Job summary

Remedy Education in Harlow is looking for a patient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well-resourced school catering for primary and secondary pupils. This full-time, long-term role starts ASAP and offers ongoing support from a dedicated consultant.

You will provide 1:1 and small group support across age groups, assist with EHCP targets, personal care when needed, and help maintain a calm, structured learning environment that promotes independence and social development.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs
  • Calm, patient and resilient approach
  • Comfortable working across both primary and secondary age groups
  • Confident supporting non-verbal or limited communication pupils
  • Willing to support personal care where needed
  • Strong team player with a proactive attitude
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Responsibilities

  • Supporting communication, emotional regulation and engagement in learning

Are you a patient, caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking to start a new role as soon as possible where you can genuinely make a difference?

We are working with a well-resourced and highly supportive SEN school in Harlow that caters for both primary and secondary-aged pupils. They are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision as soon as possible.
