CareTech Community Services in Tyldesley is hiring a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with SEMH and communication needs. You will help students thrive academically and socially in a safe, nurturing environment.

You will work 1:1 or 2:1, assist with engaging activities, support teachers to maintain an organised classroom, and participate in DBS and safeguarding checks as part of our commitment to wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students' learning and social development inside and outside the classroom.
• Working 1:1 or 2:1 with students who need extra support.
• Helping to set up engaging activities tailored to each student’s needs.
• Supporting teachers to create a positive, organised, and inspiring classroom.
• Reacting to classroom situations with calm, constructive, and professional guidance.
