Compass Community is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to support pupils with SEMH needs in our school. You will assist with 1:1 and small-group sessions, manage resources, and help create engaging displays to foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

Role requires resilience, flexibility and good English/Maths basics; training and development opportunities are provided within a growing national organisation.

Qualifications

• Supports teaching and learning in the classroom.
• Delivers sessions with small groups or 1:1 for pupils.
• Maintains classroom resources and learning displays.
• Maintains safe, supportive environment supporting SEMH needs.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning activities.
• Work with children 1:1 or in small groups.
• Manage classroom resources and equipment.
• Take children on educational trips or visits.
• Engage in therapeutic training sessions as needed.
• Support staff in maintaining a positive learning environment.
