Job summary

Education Supply Pool is seeking Teaching Assistants to support day-to-day, short- and long-term positions in Caerphilly and surrounding areas. A minimum of NVQ Level 2, CACHE Level 2, BTEC, or BA (Hons) Education is required, or equivalent experience in an education setting.

Role involves aiding lesson delivery, preparing activities, and maintaining a safe, engaging classroom environment. Positions offer flexible schedules and PAYE employment.

The successful candidate:

• Minimum of 3 months experience inside a UK Primary or Secondary classroom or teaching assistant environment.
• Assist with preparing lessons in all areas of the school curriculum with consideration of varied levels of student abilities.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude.
• Provide simulating activities whilst ensuring hygiene and safety rules.
• Maintain a supportive and clean classroom environment.
• Be attentive to the unique needs of each student and be able to identify proper solutions when children encounter issues.
• Great communication skills to collaborate with other teachers and families when needed.
