Job summary

Supply Team Education Ltd is seeking talented Teaching Assistants to support Nursery, Primary and Secondary settings in Cardiff. Roles include one-to-one support and small group work, with flexible full-time, part-time and ad-hoc positions to fit around you.

You will work under the class teacher, assist with lesson prep, support reading groups, accompany pupils on trips and adhere to safeguarding protocols, including DBS and EWC registration requirements.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required; experience in education, social care, youth leadership or similar is valued.
• Transferable skills from related fields are acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils under the guidance of the class teacher.
• Prepare the classroom and organise resources before lessons.
• Assist with reading groups and provide one-to-one support where needed.

Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

Supply Team are seeking talented, reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work within Nursery, Primary and Secondary School settings in Cardiff.

In preperation for the new academic year in September, our Schools in Cardiff require Teaching Assistants across all age groups, who are able to provide one-to-one support as well as being involved with small groups.

No qualifications needed, these roles require you to have gained experience in a similar environment; whether that be within Education, Social Care, Youth Leadership, Sports Coaching or something similar you will have all the transferable skills required to undertake the duties of a Teaching Assistant.

We have full-time, part-time and ad-hoc positions available, so whatever your circumstances, we will have a Teaching Assistant role that works for you.

What you can expect in the role of a Teaching Assistant:

• To work under the guidance of the class teacher in supporting the pupils;
• Assisting with the preparation of the classroom before each lesson, as well as tidying/collecting workbooks etc at the end;
• Helping with reading groups;
• Working on a one-to-one basis where required;
• Attendance of school trips;
• Being aware of child protection and safeguarding protocols;
• Accompanying pupils whilst out of class;
• Carry out general administrative duties, as directed;
