Job summary

Hoop Education is recruiting Teaching Assistants in Caerphilly and surrounding areas. Positions include full-time, part-time, temporary and permanent opportunities with flexible day-to-day work and long-term placements.

You will support pupils in primary and SEN schools, helping with lesson delivery, activities and behaviour management while promoting inclusive education. Free CPD and dedicated consultant support are provided.

Qualifications

Experience in education or working with children and young people is welcomed.
Ability to support pupils one-to-one or in small groups.
Ability to assist teachers with lesson delivery and activities.
Commitment to inclusive education and positive behaviour support.
Reliable, adaptable and professional with good communication.
Full support with free CPD training provided.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting pupils and teachers to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Your responsibilities may include:

Supporting pupils in the classroom on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
Helping pupils to remain engaged with their learning
Supporting children with additional learning needs where required
Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting inclusion
Preparing classroom resources and learning materials
Building positive relationships with pupils, teachers and parents

Assignments are available across primary schools and special educational needs (SEN) settings.
