Job summary

Education Supply Pool Ltd seeks Student Teachers to begin work in Caerphilly and surrounding areas on a supply basis. Opportunity to gain varied school experience and flexible hours, with PAYE payroll and no time sheets.

Candidates should be on track to obtain QTS/PGCE/BA in Education, have at least 3 months UK teaching experience, and can handle challenging behaviour while delivering engaging lessons. DBS checks and references form part of the vetting process.

Qualifications

• On course to obtain QTS/PGCE/BA in Education.
• Minimum 3 months experience teaching in UK primary or secondary.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviour and maintain discipline.
• Plan innovative lessons aligned to Education curricula.
• Liaise with staff to deliver curriculum and assess pupils.
• Inspire and motivate pupils and manage classrooms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum across assigned subjects in different schools.
• Assess pupils and provide feedback to support progress.
• Collaborate with school staff to implement lessons.

Education Supply Pool is a PAYE Employer recruiting for Student Teacher’s to begin work in Caerphilly and their surrounding areas on a supply basis immediately.

Supply work is ideal for those wanting to experience different schools, for those wanting to retain flexibility around their work and those wanting to sharpen their skills before embarking on a more permanent placement.

Holding a Valid UK driver's license would increase opportunities for work

The successful candidate:

• Are you on course to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a PGCE or a BA in Education?
• Have a minimum 3-month experience of teaching within a UK Primary or Secondary School,
• Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and maintain discipline,
• Plan innovative and creative lessons with the correct Education and Training
• Liaise with other staff members to deliver curriculum,
• Maintain necessary assessment of pupils,
• Be able to inspire and motivate pupils

As a valued member of ESP, you’ll receive:

• A minimum pay rate of at least M1 (Currently £125 per day)
• A £125 recommend a friend scheme
• A variety of daily, short-term, and long-term positions to suit your needs,
• No need for completion of time sheets,
• Pay via PAYE direct through Education Supply Pool and not an umbrella company.
