Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join local schools across the area, offering flexible long-term and daily supply roles to suit your schedule.

You will support classroom teachers, work 1:1 or in small groups to boost literacy and numeracy, assist pupils with SEN, and help create an inclusive learning environment.

We offer competitive pay of £85–£105 per day, weekly PAYE with no umbrella fees, local roles, and free CPD training to enhance your education resume.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people (schools, nurseries, youth work, care, or coaching).
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to learning support.
• Strong communication skills and a good command of English and Maths.
• An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
• Right to work in the UK and reliable transport links to schools in your area.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers with daily lesson delivery and effective classroom management.
• Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils to boost literacy, numeracy, and overall confidence.
• Assist children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), such as ASD, ADHD, or speech delays.
• Create an inclusive, safe, and encouraging learning environment for all students.
