Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support learners across local schools in the UK. Roles range from long-term to day-to-day supply, ideal for graduates or those with backgrounds in childcare, coaching, or care.

Responsibilities include supporting lessons, 1:1 and small groups, and aiding pupils with SEN. The position offers flexible full-time, part-time, or daily shifts with weekly PAYE payments and CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (schools, nurseries, youth work, care, or coaching).
• Patient, empathetic and proactive approach to learning support.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers with daily lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Work 1:1 or in small groups to boost literacy, numeracy, and confidence.
• Assist children with SEN (ASD, ADHD, speech delays).
• Create an inclusive, safe, and encouraging learning environment.
