Job summary

Teaching Personnel is supporting primary schools in the BD21 area, recruiting enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to start in September. You'll work alongside teachers to support pupils' academic, social and emotional development in inclusive classrooms.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar setting.
• Patient, caring, and enthusiastic about education.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with SEND or EAL is desirable but not essential.
• Proactive approach and willingness to get involved in all aspects of school life.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development by:

• Working alongside teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities
• Supporting individuals and small groups to achieve their learning goals
• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
