Job summary

Leigh Stationers' Academy invites applications for a Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with pupils and support groups in mainstream and inclusion areas. You will help differentiate resources, set targets, and collaborate with teachers to positively impact student learning.

Experience with ASD/ADHD/SEMH/SLCN is valued; GCSEs in literacy and numeracy are required. The role offers a fixed-term contract until July 2027, with a competitive salary and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with pupils with ASD/ADHD/SEMH/SLCN.
• Educated to GCSE level in literacy and numeracy.
• Willingness to develop through training and join our teaching team.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with selected students and support groups.
• Differentiate resources and monitor targets with teachers.
• Assist in inclusion area during intervention sessions.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to support learning outcomes.
