Job summary

Leigh Stationers' Academy is seeking a knowledgeable and efficient Teaching Assistant to join our team. You will work 1:1 with pupils, support groups, differentiate resources, and monitor targets alongside teachers. Experience with ASD/ADHD/SEMH/SLCN is valued.

GCSEs in literacy and numeracy are required, with opportunities to develop towards Teacher Training. The actual salary is £27,448 per annum, based on 37 hours per week, term time plus 1 inset week.

Qualifications

• Experience with pupils who have ASD, ADHD, SEMH or SLCN is valued.
• GCSE level (or equivalent) in literacy and numeracy required.
• Commitment to personal learning and development and shared values.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with selected students and support small groups in classes.
• Differentiate resources and set/monitor targets with teachers.
• Collaborate with the inclusion area to support pupils' progress.
