You will be working closely on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with behavioural difficulties, so background knowledge of this would be highly beneficial. The ideal candidate will be patient and kind and willing to identify triggers for negative behaviour choices. Someone who is willing to create a routine and environment for the child that is safe, fun and conducive to learning. This is a full time role from Monday-Friday as there is a need for consistency.

This is a large school based in the Huntingdon area of Cambridgeshire where staff are commited to ensuring the best outcomes for the children in their care.

Requirements:

• Knowledge and/or experience of working with children with special educational needs
• To be patient, kind and resilient
• To be willing to process or have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
