The School and Role
A primary school in Daventry is seeking a committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with an EHCP. This part-time, long-term role (3 days per week) is ideal for someone with strong behaviour management skills and a calm, consistent approach. You will work closely with teaching staff to provide targeted, personalised support. The school has a supportive team and a positive ethos. Driving is preferred due to the school’s rural location.

Requirements
The desired Teaching Assistant will have:

Proven experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour

Strong understanding of working with children with EHCPs

Experience in UK primary schools

Excellent communication and resilience

Team Teach training (or willingness to complete it) is an advantage

A full UK driving licence and access to transport is preferred
