Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking Qualified Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across Wigan and surrounding areas. Opportunities range from day-to-day supply to short-term and long-term placements with immediate starts.

You will work with pupils across KS3/KS4, support learning needs, assist teachers and help maintain a positive learning environment. An Enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Required TA qualification (Level 2/3 or equivalent).
• Experience supporting secondary students (KS3/KS4).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Veritas Education are currently recruiting for Qualified Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across Wigan and the surrounding areas. We have a range of opportunities available, from day-to-day supply work through to short-term and long-term placements with immediate starts available.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their full potential.

The Role:

• Provide classroom support across KS3 and KS4.
• Work with individual pupils and small intervention groups.
• Support students with additional learning needs where required.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
• Help maintain a positive learning environment and promote student progress.

Requirements:

• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2, Level 3 or equivalent).
• Previous experience working within a secondary school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• A proactive, flexible and supportive approach.
