Job summary

Veritas Education is seeking enthusiastic English teachers to work across Wigan and surrounding areas. Immediate start available with short-term to long-term placements.

Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT, you will deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons to KS3/KS4, plan and assess pupil progress, and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment while upholding high behaviour standards.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent required.
• Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Passion for inspiring young people through English.

Immediate Start | Short-Term to Long-Term Assignments | Veritas Education

Veritas Education are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated English Teachers to work in secondary schools across Wigan and the surrounding areas. We have opportunities available for an immediate start, ranging from short-term cover to long-term placements.

Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to gain valuable classroom experience, we would love to hear from you.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4.


• Plan, prepare and assess pupil progress where required.


• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.


• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.


• Work collaboratively with school staff to support student achievement.

Requirements:
