Job summary

Veritas Education is actively seeking enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistants to work across Lancashire. The roles include day-to-day supply, short-term placements and ongoing temporary assignments, supporting KS3/KS4 students with engaging lessons and interventions.

Ideal candidates hold Level 2/3 TA qualifications, have prior secondary school experience, and hold an Enhanced DBS or are willing to obtain one. Competitive rates and CPD access are offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teaching Assistants (Level 2, Level 3 or equivalent).
• Experience in a secondary school setting is preferred.
• Enhanced DBS via Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support students across KS3 and KS4 in the classroom.

Veritas Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of secondary schools across Lancashire. We have a range of flexible opportunities available, including day-to-day supply, short-term placements, and ongoing temporary assignments.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting students and helping them succeed both academically and personally.

The Role:

• Supporting students across KS3 and KS4 within the classroom
• Working alongside teaching staff to deliver engaging lessons
• Providing one-to-one and small group intervention support
• Assisting students with additional learning needs where required
• Promoting positive behaviour and student engagement
• Adapting to different school environments and settings

We Are Looking For:

• Qualified Teaching Assistants (Level 2, Level 3 or equivalent)
• Previous experience working within a secondary school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, flexible and professional approach
• A passion for supporting young people in their education
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
