Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, SEMH and related needs. You’ll help them learn, build skills and grow confidence in a well-resourced school environment.

You’ll join a supportive team, receive a full induction and on-the-job training, and enjoy generous holidays, pension, and wellbeing benefits as part of a values‑driven organisation.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a classroom setting.
  • Resilient and dedicated to supporting pupils.
  • Able to work well with colleagues and families.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with ASD/SEMH to learn and develop.
  • Help raise pupil self-esteem and confidence.
  • Assist the teacher andTherapists in delivering activities.
  • Participate in induction, training and wellbeing initiatives.
