Job summary

Hinckley House School, part of the Witherslack Group, is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children with ASD/SEMH. You will help learners develop skills, boost self-esteem and stay resilient through a dynamic, well-resourced school environment.

You will work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver personalised activities, participate in training, and contribute to a safe, inclusive culture across the school.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children and young people, including those with ASD/SEMH, is valued.
  • Ability to stay resilient and dedicated in a challenging environment.
  • Willingness to participate in training and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Support children and young people to learn and develop their abilities and raise self-esteem.
  • Work with teachers and therapists to deliver effective learning activities.

You’ll be working with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs . You’ll be there to help them learn, develop their abilities and raise their self-esteem.
