Job summary

Witherslack Group Ltd is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with diverse learning needs at our Grange-over-Sands campus. You will work closely with teachers to implement learning activities, monitor progress and help build confidence and self-esteem.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a classroom environment is preferred but training is provided.
  • Ability to support children and young people with diverse needs.
  • Patience, resilience and a positive approach to learning.

Responsibilities

  • Support children and young people with autism, SEMH needs, and other learning challenges.
  • Assist teaching staff to deliver engaging learning activities and track progress.

One of the best environments in SEND Oversands School is an independent specialist day school providing high quality education, based in Grange-over-SandsWitherslack, Cumbria.
