Job summary

Witherslack Group's Chilworth House Lower School is seeking a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about helping children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and SEMH. You’ll support learning, help build confidence and celebrate the huge small victories every day.

You’ll work in a nurturing, well-resourced environment with strong school-wide support, induction and ongoing training to help you succeed with our young people.

Responsibilities

  • Work with children and young people with ASD/SEMH to help them learn and raise self-esteem.
  • Support the teacher and therapists in delivering lessons and activities.

Up to £29,028 per annum (including SSA and Regional Allowance)

You’ll be working with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs . You’ll be there to help them learn, develop their abilities and raise their self-esteem. You will need to be resilient and dedicated, but those huge small victories that you achieve will be something you're really proud of.
