Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in an educational setting.
• SEN experience is essential.
• Level 2/3 Childcare qualification (desirable).
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Work with pupils on 1:1 or small groups during lessons.
• Support the class teacher and prepare the classroom.
• Support pupils with SEN and adapt strategies.
• Liaise with professionals to discuss progress.
• Assist with lunch and break duties when required.
• Report concerns to the SENCo.

Responsibilities

• Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to provide support during lessons
• Provide general support to the class teacher, such as setting up the classroom for lessons
• Support pupils with SEN and develop strategies to best support their needs
• Liaise with the class teacher and any other relevant professionals to discuss pupil progress
• Provide additional support with lunch and break duties where needed
• Report any concerns to the SENCo

Requirements

• Previous experience working in Education or similar role
• SEN experience
• Level 2/3 Childcare qualification (desirable)
• Enhanced Child DBS (or willingness to apply)
