Job summary

Randstad Education is recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants for roles across North Wales and Cheshire. You will work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, providing support during lessons and helping pupils with SEN.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in Education or similar role
• SEN experience
• Level 2/3 Childcare qualification (desirable)
• Enhanced Child DBS (or willingness )

Responsibilities

• Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to provide support during lessons
• Provide general support to the class teacher, such as setting up the classroom for lessons
• Support pupils with SEN and develop strategies to best support their needs
• Liaise with the class teacher and any other relevant professionals to discuss pupil progress
• Provide additional support with lunch and break duties where needed
• Report any concerns to the SENCo
