Job summary

Term Time Teachers is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with SEN at a secondary school in Tonbridge. This role offers valuable classroom experience for graduates aiming to pursue teaching, educational psychology, or related child-focused professions.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in a core subject or social science, or relevant experience, and demonstrate strong communication, patience and resilience.

Qualifications

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

  • Support students with SEN on 1:1 and small group basis.
  • Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons.
  • Encourage student confidence, independence and academic progress.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.

Teaching Assistant - Secondary School Tonbridge

A welcoming secondary school in Tonbridge is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) from September. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while making a genuine difference to young people's education.
