Job summary

Term Time Teachers is assisting a friendly secondary school in Maidstone to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with SEN from September. The role suits graduates or degree holders in English, Maths, Science, Psychology, Sociology, Criminology or similar fields seeking school experience before teaching.

You will work with a committed SEN team to deliver targeted academic and pastoral support, assist teachers with adapting activities, and help foster an inclusive learning

Qualifications

  • Degree or relevant experience working with young people.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).

This role would be an excellent fit for graduates in English, Maths, Science, Psychology, Sociology, Criminology and other core subject or social science degrees who are looking to gain valuable school experience before moving into teaching or another education-related career.
