Job summary

AMA Admin in Caterham, Surrey seeks a Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a warm primary school setting. You will provide 1:1 and small-group assistance, help maintain a calm, structured environment, and adapt activities to meet diverse needs.

You will work closely with teachers, SEN specialists and external professionals to promote independence, communication and confidence, contributing to safeguarding and a nurturing school community.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN in schools, care, or related settings.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping pupils.
• Ability to build trusting relationships and use positive behaviour strategies.
• Proactive, reliable in the classroom and able to work independently or with a team.
