Job summary

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council seeks a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant to start January 2027, subject to clearances, covering PPA release across the school with EY/KS1/KS2 experience. This 28-hour-per-week role runs Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 4:00pm.

You will deliver engaging lessons, demonstrate effective behaviour management, direct support staff in the classroom, and support attendance.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification with experience in Early Years/KS1/KS2.
• Experience delivering engaging lessons and supporting attendance.
• Ability to lead and direct support staff in the classroom.

Governors wish to appoint a qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to start in January 2027 subject to clearances. The postholder will cover teacher PPA release across the whole school and should have experience of working in Early Years/KS1 and KS2. 28 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4.00pm.
