Job summary

Tividale Community Primary School is hiring a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to start in January 2027. The role covers teacher PPA release across the school and supports learners in Early Years and KS1/KS2.

The post is 28 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 8:30am–4:00pm, term time plus five training days, and is permanent. Applicants will need a HLTA qualification and experience delivering engaging lessons, with strong behaviour management and coordinating support staff in the classroom.

Job description

Governors wish to appoint a qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to start in January 2027 subject to clearances. The postholder will cover teacher PPA release across the whole school and should have experience of working in Early Years/KS1 and KS2.

28 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4.00pm.
