Friesland School invites applications for a Teaching Assistant to join a committed team. You will work with teachers to support learning in line with the national curriculum and policies, contributing to a safe, engaging classroom environment.
The successful candidate will support students with varying learning, behavioural, communication, social, sensory or physical difficulties and help meet SEND targets alongside non-SEND peers.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant to join an already existing committed team at Friesland School. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic hard-working and is passionate about supporting young people achieve their best. The successful candidate will work in partnership with teachers to support learning in line with the national curriculum, codes of practice, policies and procedures.
Patience will be key to this role as you will be supporting students in a specific curriculum area or support students with varying degrees of learning, behavioural, communication, social, sensory or physical difficulties. You will play an integral part in ensuring students with any degree of SEND meet targets and progress in line with students not on the SEND register.

Grade and Salary Grade 2: £19,527 - £20,471 actual salary per annum (£25,185 - £26,403 FTE)
Working pattern 33.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Contract term Permanent
