Job summary

Friesland School in England is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a committed team. You will work alongside teachers to support learning in line with the national curriculum and school policies.

The successful candidate will be patient, enthusiastic and hardworking, supporting students with varying needs, including SEND, to help them meet targets and progress.

Grade and Salary Grade 2: £19,527 - £20,471 actual salary per annum (£25,185 - £26,403 FTE)

Working pattern 33.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

The role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant to join an already existing committed team at Friesland School. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic hard-working and is passionate about supporting young people achieve their best. The successful candidate will work in partnership with teachers to support learning in line with the national curriculum, codes of practice, policies and procedures.

The person:

Patience will be key to this role as you will be supporting students in a specific curriculum area or support students with varying degrees of learning, behavioural, communication, social, sensory or physical difficulties. You will play an integral part in ensuring students with any degree of SEND meet targets and progress in line with students not on the SEND register.
