Job summary

Reeson Education is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants for mainstream primary schools in Richmond upon Thames. You will provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN (ASD, ADHD, and speech and language needs) and assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.

This full-time, fixed-term role begins September 2026 with a potential to become permanent, offering competitive daily rates of £90–£110 and ongoing school-site support for your placement. A current DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEN.
• Patient, proactive and nurturing.
• Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Committed to supporting pupils with additional needs.
• Holds a DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one).

Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a range of welcoming and high-achieving primary schools in Richmond upon Thames.

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils within mainstream settings across Richmond upon Thames from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the highly desirable borough of Richmond upon Thames, supporting children with additional needs in inclusive school environments.

About the Role
