SEN Specialist Support Assistant - Primary School - Notting Hill

Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full Time, Long Term
Location: Notting Hill, London
Salary: £100 - £120 per day (dependent on experience)
School Type: Mainstream Primary School

We are currently seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dedicated SEN Specialist Support Assistant to join a well-respected primary school in Notting Hill starting in September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to support children with additional needs, making a meaningful impact in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

About the role:

  1. Full-time, long-term position
  2. Working closely with pupils who have a range of special educational needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties
  3. Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support, both in and out of the classroom
  4. Collaborating with class teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to deliver personalised learning plans
  5. Supporting the emotional, social, and academic development of pupils

About you:

  1. Previous experience working with children with SEN essential
  2. Strong understanding of various special educational needs and effective support strategies
  3. Calm, patient, and empathetic approach
  4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  5. A proactive team player with a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and well-being
