Job summary

Smart Education are recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in Redditch. The role involves working across Key Stage 1 and 2, 1:1, small groups, and supporting inclusive learning within a supportive team.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months UK primary school experience, strong behaviour management, and is willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months UK experience in a primary school.
• Enhanced DBS on Update service or willingness to obtain one.
• SEN experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, positive and productive classroom.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and SEN teams.
• Follow school policies and expectations.
• Working with pupils in class, small groups and 1:1.
• Working across Key stage 1 and Key stage 2.

Job Requirements of a SEN Teaching Assistant

• Minimum 6 months UK experience in a Primary school
