Job summary

Distinction Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil at a Redditch mainstream primary school. You will provide focused 1:1 support to help the pupil access lessons and stay included in class activities.

Experience with autism or other SEN is beneficial; prior SEN TA or SEND support experience is welcome, but candidates from related child-facing roles are encouraged to apply. Day rate between £92.56 and £110 PAYE.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with autism or other Special Educational Needs (SEN) would be beneficial.
• School Experience Is Desirable - But Not Essential: we welcome applications from candidates with substantial experience in other child-focused environments.

Are you patient, nurturing and passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning?

Distinction Education is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to a pupil within a Year 3 class at a mainstream primary school in Redditch.

The successful Teaching Assistant will provide focused 1:1 support while helping the pupil remain engaged and included within the wider classroom.

What Will You Be Doing?

We recognise that excellent SEN support staff dosent only come from schools.

While previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or SEND Teaching Assistant would be desirable, we welcome applications from candidates who have substantial experience supporting children in other environments.

You may have worked within children's residential care, youth work, childcare, SEND services, sports coaching, children's charities, support work or other child-focused organisations.
