Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants and Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to support students in specialist SEN and SEMH schools across Berkshire, including Reading, Newbury, Wokingham, Bracknell, Winnersh and Woodley. We welcome both experienced SEN professionals and those starting their career in education.

You will help children access education, build confidence and achieve meaningful progress. Start Date: ASAP.

SEN Teaching Assistants & HLTAs | Specialist SEN & SEMH Schools | Berkshire

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants and Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work within a range of specialist SEN and SEMH schools across Berkshire, including:

Reading | Newbury | Wokingham | Bracknell | Winnersh | Woodley

The Role

You'll be supporting children and young people with a variety of additional needs, helping them access education, develop confidence, and achieve meaningful progress both academically and personally

Start Date: ASAP

No SEN Experience? No Problem!

If you're motivated to make a difference and willing to learn, we can provide the training, guidance and support needed to help you succeed in a specialist education setting.

Experience in education, care, support work, youth work, healthcare, coaching, residential care or similar people-focused roles is welcomed, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
