Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, together with St Buryan Academy Primary School, are seeking to appoint a dynamic and committed Teaching Assistant.

Working under the direction of the class teacher and SENDCo, you will provide classroom support to individuals and small groups of pupils, helping to deliver engaging learning activities and promoting pupils' academic, social and emotional development. The role may include supporting individual pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring all pupils are supported to access the curriculum and participate fully in school life.

We are looking for someone who is patient, adaptable and passionate about supporting children and young people. You should have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to build effective relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

The role may include supporting pupils with additional needs, assisting with behaviour management strategies, preparing learning resources and contributing to the wider life of the school.
